A winning weekend for the VWH!

The VWH weekend of glory continued on Sunday in the Combined Challenge at WWEC.

New members Rosie Dale and Poppy Slade made their Club debut with some great riding over a long and twisty course which combined SJ with XC jumps.

Poppy pulled off an amazing win, with team mate Penny Hall, who supplied all the horses for this team, bagging 2nd place! Rosie was 4th individually and the team qualified for the national championship.

In the 90cm class, Biffy McNally and Alex McConnell cleared all the show jumps with just a few XC to finish 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Finally, the VWH cleaned up in the 100 cm. Biffy won with an impressive double clear on her youngster with Serena Norton a close second.

The entries were not huge in this competition, probably due to Hartpury the day before, but our ladies rode out of their skins and enjoyed themselves - which is what Riding Club is all about.
