As a club we cater for all levels of rider, from those who just want to have fun with their horse, new combinations starting their training, through to people competing their horses at any level.
We are affiliated to British Riding Clubs, within Area 9, which enables members to compete in qualifiers of all equestrian disciplines and the chance to qualify for national championships at all levels.
We hold regular clinics, residential camps and training days with a variety of instructors to suit all abilities and welcome new members to come and join the fun!

Area 9 Eventers Challenge Qualifier
The Festival of the Horse Eventers Challenge Area Qualifier was held on Sunday 11th October at Mendip Plains Equestrian Centre.
We entered a Novice team that sadly didn't finish with a team score due to a unfortunate tumble and some navigational issues however Penny Hall and Lumiere finished 5th individually :-). Phili Hall and Cheeko competed as an individual in the Intermediate finishing a brilliant 3rd with a super double clear and fingers crossed this will get them a spot at the championships. Thank you very much to Lynda King who gave up her day to go fence judging so that the team could compete.
The VWH Autumn Residential Camp dates was held between 26th - 30th September at Stockland Lovell Equestrian.
Polly Williamson was our amazing instructor and a fabulous time was had by all.
We were graced with wall to wall sunshine everyday, the ground on the cross country was perfect. With brilliant instruction and a lovely bunch of horses and riders it really was a camp to remember.
For the first night we shared the facilities with a Welsh riding club - the same night the England played Wales in the rugby and what a night was had! thank you all for making it such fun.
Our days were filled with lessons for all levels and Polly gave everyone 110% each day to the get the best from their horses and so much amazing progress was made.
Dates for the Spring: March 17th-20th 2016
