Welcome to the VWH Riding Club
We are a long established friendly club with members from all around the Cirencester, Malmesbury and Swindon area.
As a club we cater for all levels of rider, from those who just want to have fun with their horse, new combinations starting their training, through to people competing their horses at any level.
We are affiliated to British Riding Clubs, within Area 9, which enables members to compete in qualifiers of all equestrian disciplines and the chance to qualify for national championships at all levels.
We hold regular clinics, residential camps and training days with a variety of instructors to suit all abilities and welcome new members to come and join the fun!

William Miflin
William Miflin, our much loved trainer and friend has dies at the age of 45.
William had been suffering from cancer for several years. He died on Saturday evening (23 March).
In his twenties, William rode at many international three-day events and completed Badminton and Burghley several times. He won the Armada dish for five Badminton completions in 1997 - all with Passadena II.
He was short-listed for the Barcelona Olympics (1992) and long-listed for Atlanta (1996), before becoming an accredited British Eventing (BE) coach.
William whilst based at The Old Kennels, Cirencester held regular very popular training sessions for our club, alongside coaching our annual autumn camps at Stockland Lovell and our Blenheim Eventers Challenge Teams. He was a great supporter of our club and helped so many of us achieve far more than we ever believed possible - for this, we will all be forever thankful. Our thoughts at this time are with Sara, Georgia, Thomas and the rest of his family.
Spring Training Day
This will now be held on Monday 27th May at Rabson Manor, Wroughton with trainer Richard Waygood. All those booked onto the cancelled 29th March have been automatically transferred onto the new date.
Full details available on our training day page.
Spring Camp
11 members and 13 horses headed to Stockland Lovell Equestrian Centre, Somerset, 22-24th February 2013 with trainer Sophie Dickinson and a chilly but fantastic time was had by all. Sadly, but not surprisingly we were unable to go cross country but Stockland Lovell kindly positioned some portable fences within the show jumping arena which made our simulated session even more challenging.
Fiona Crawford Equestrian Photographer attended camp on the saturday and took some amazing photo's. These can be seen on her website - Click here
